This game was created by Thiemo Walrecht as a dice version of the ancient European spinning top game.
Because of the few requirements needed for T-Totum (Teetotum), and the simple game rules, this game was popular in bars and by soldiers, alongside dice games.
In T-Totum Dice the four-sided top (1d4) is replaced by three standard dice (3d6).
For this game you need three standard dice, a bunch of tokens (i.e. coins), and a couple of friends around a table.
The first player establishes the amount of tokens each player starts its round with (mostly 10-15), tokens used as stake (1 as default) and the number of rounds the game will last (10 as default).
The player who has won most rounds wins the game.
At the beginning of a round each player puts a stake into the pot. The first player will throw the dice. When the contents of the pot becomes lower than a stake, at any time, each player puts a stake into the pot.
The last player owning tokens wins the round, and takes which is still in the pot.
When it is your turn, throw the dice. The number of even results are counted.
None, no even : no action this turn.
Take, one even : take the entire pot.
Half, two even : take half the pot.
Put, three even : put a stake into the pot.
